On September 21st, the De Rigo Refrigeration Family Day took place—a special day to celebrate with all employees and their families the 60th anniversary of our company. This anniversary represents not only the celebration of a long entrepreneurial journey but also an opportunity to renew our commitment driven by passion, innovation, and a deep connection to the local area.
Founded in 1965 thanks to the intuition and entrepreneurial spirit of brothers Ennio and Walter De Rigo, the company has built a solid business, becoming one of the main reference points in the commercial refrigeration sector. That initial vision has grown into a significant industrial reality, still firmly led today by the De Rigo family, who follow it with dedication and foresight.
In his speech, President Ennio De Rigo recalled the early days: “With my brother Walter, in 1965, we started this adventure with great confidence and passion. Seeing today how De Rigo Refrigeration has become a solid and well-known reality both in Italy and abroad is a great source of pride for me. Behind every company, behind every success, there are always people. The strength is the family, and De Rigo is a big family, of which you all are a part! These 60 years are not a finishing line but a new beginning. We will continue to grow, innovate, and look to the future with the same enthusiasm as when we started. And we will do it together, with the same tenacity and passion that have always guided us.”
Managing Director Paolo Zenatto stated in his address: “Efficiency means staying competitive, quality means customer loyalty, and responsibility generates trust and enhances the company’s image. The combination of these three factors becomes a real competitive advantage. De Rigo aims for sustainable growth: that is why we have started a path of investments in both innovation and corporate reorganization, to be increasingly perceived as a key player in our sector. We aspire to open new markets with quality and innovative products that we will present at EuroShop 2026.”

In six decades of business, De Rigo Refrigeration has met significant growth milestones, resolutely addressing the challenges of an ever-evolving market. It has been 60 years of hard work, transformation, constant commitment, and great satisfaction. Today the company has around 300 employees, most of whom live in the province of Belluno. A tangible sign of the choice to invest in people and local communities, enhancing their skills, professionalism, and resources.
To underline the momentum towards the future, CEO Paolo Zenatto also highlighted the scope of the investments: “Our sixtieth anniversary is not just a milestone to celebrate, but a starting point for facing future challenges with greater strength. In recent years, we have invested significantly not only in production but also in design and technology, with a particular focus on energy efficiency, sustainability, and process digitalization. Our refrigerated counters, entirely designed and manufactured in our 45,000-square-meter facility in Sedico, represent a perfect balance between technical innovation and design. And it is precisely this combination – quality, aesthetics, efficiency, and manufacturing roots – that allows us to be competitive internationally and offer customized solutions to customers around the world. This year we are also celebrating the 10th anniversary of our Spanish branch: an occasion that marks a path of constant growth in an area, namely the Iberian Peninsula, which has become increasingly strategic for us.”
To celebrate this important anniversary, De Rigo Refrigeration has planned two special events: the first will be held on September 21, 2025 with a Family Day at the Sedico plant. It will be an opportunity to celebrate and share with employees and their families, who will be able to tour the production facilities and experience first-hand the place where their loved ones work every day. The second event will be international, in February 2026 in Düsseldorf, during EuroShop, the world’s leading trade fair for commercial refrigeration. Here, De Rigo Refrigeration will conclude its 60th anniversary celebrations with a special evening dedicated to customers from around the world, to thank them for their trust and the shared journey.

Cybersecurity: because IT security is everyone’s responsibility, every day.
Wellbeing: because people’s well-being is the primary motor of productivity and innovation.
Model 231 and Code of Ethics: to remind us that working with integrity is the first step towards generating value.
It’s not all about slides and theory, but about stories, experiences, questions (even tough ones) and many ideas to think about. We believe that this is how corporate culture is built: one day at a time, all together.

Revisiting and innovating company processes for equality. We will be analysing and updating our internal procedures to ensure that each process, from selection to performance, is fair, transparent and fosters the valorisation of diversity.
Guaranteeing a safe and respectful workplace. We will be implementing specific measures to prevent and fight every form of abuse, discrimination or harassment, by promoting a work climate based on trust, mutual respect and personal dignity.
Fostering work-life balance. We will be developing policies and tools that allow people to effectively balance their work responsibilities with personal and family needs, recognising the importance of a healthy balance for overall well-being.
Monitoring and managing progress towards gender equality. We will be establishing clear and measurable indicators to assess our progress, in line with our regulation.
To guide and sustain this journey, we have put together a Gender Equality Guidance Committee. This team will have the task of coordinating initiatives, monitoring the implementation of policies and standing as the reference point for all people in the organisation.

The DRR website now offers even easier and faster navigation, with new features and content, and can adapt even better to the screen of any device, thereby offering an optimized experience.
You can also consult or download the commercial sheets with a simple click, and by registering on our site you will have access to all the additional content, especially technical, which will allow you to delve deeper into all the product features. Our loyal followers, who are already registered, will simply need to update the password.
The graphic design has been completely revisited, with an even more user-friendly content architecture. We have taken care of every detail within the pages, starting from the home page that welcomes users with videos dedicated to our company; videos that will change over the next few months to always offer you new content and tell you about us and our first 60 years.
The product images are also enriched with new features, with the option of seeing both full and empty refrigerated cabinets, with one simple move of the mouse, and see them rotate for an even more realistic effect, and with videos that offer a moving and contextualized view.

A great collaboration we are truly proud of ended a few days ago with the opening of a new Decò brand store in San Giorgio Ionico, near Taranto. The customer chooses to rely on our company for the setup of the whole cold area of the supermarket, choosing cabinets, cold rooms and refrigeration systems by De Rigo Refrigeration, with telemonitoring and alarms management entrusted to our Service department. We installed Milos 2.0 serve over counters, Euro Puket 2.0 vertical cabinets – for the fresh products display – and Clio 2.0 BT for the frozen food sector. The installation was finally completed with promotional islands from the Amethyst range. A special thanks to Daniele Conzo and Multicedi Campania (VéGé Group) for choosing us. It was a real pleasure to be able to collaborate once again with one of the main players in large-scale distribution in southern Italy.
