On October 2nd, the new Unidos Luperón retail location of the Almacenes Unidos chain – one of the main and most prestigious retail chains in the Dominican Republic-was officially opened in Santo Domingo.
This project marks a new client for De Rigo Refrigeration and represents our second CO₂ installation completed alongside our partner Frigga Cooling Experts.
Spanning a total area of 34.300 m², with 3.500 m² dedicated to the supermarket area, a turnkey, energy-efficient solution was developed.
De Rigo Refrigeration supplied display cabinets from the ANGEL, TIMOR 2.0, SUMATRA 2.0 and EURO BARBADOS 2.0 lines, integrated with an SCM Frigo CO₂ rack and a remote monitoring system for continuous performance tracking.
The entire system installation was carried out by Frigga Cooling Experts, who will also manage local technical support and remote supervision.
This opening marks the beginning of a long-term collaboration with Almacenes Unidos, which will continue to strengthen in future projects. We thank Almacenes Unidos for their trust and Frigga Cooling Experts for their excellent teamwork.
